About Adriaan W Bruijnzeel

Dr. Bruijnzeel joined the Department of Psychiatry of the College of Medicine at the University of Florida in 2004. He completed his doctorate in Neuropharmacology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands in 2001 and then came to the United States for a post-doctorate fellowship at the Scripps Research Institute, in San Diego, California. While at the Scripps Institute he studied the neuroadaptations underlying nicotine dependence. His work was funded by the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program of the State of California.
