2022 Skill-Building Training Topics and Schedule

Clinicians at the primary care practices were polled during Technical Assistance sessions to determine topics of interest. The ECHO model of training was presented as the teaching method and all participants were in favor. As such, trainings will be conducted on a monthly basis via Zoom, in one-hour sessions during clinician lunch hours. Modules will include three sessions with a brief presentation followed by a group case discussion of cases (de-identified) the primary care providers present.

Module 1 Systematic screening and assessment

Module 2 – Management of depression, anxiety, and suicidality in the pediatric office

Module 3 – Family engagement and motivation (for adherence to meds, follow-up with community services, etc.)

2020-2021 Modules

Clinicians completed Needs Assessment Questionnaires and were consulted during pre-readiness, onsite visits and the preferred method of training delivery is through webinar. As such, trainings will be conducted on a monthly basis via Zoom, in one hour sessions during clinician lunch hours. Applicable modules will include power point presentations that will be distributed ahead of time and screen shared throughout the training session. (De-identified) case conference discussions will be added every third module.
