My name is Kenyada Higgins-Cheatem, and I am a proud alumna of the University of Florida, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. I also have a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, obtained in 2012 from another institution. I have a background in customer service, membership coordination/onboarding, HR Recruitment, and personnel management/onboarding. I currently live locally and am married with two daughters, Cooper and Cadence (born, 2022 and 2020). I am originally from Morristown. TN and came to Gainesville in 2005 to attend UF and never left.

Manages administrative operations for the Addiction Division and Addiction Medicine Fellowship, supporting faculty and fellows. Responsibilities include scheduling, documentation, compliance, and program coordination to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Kim is an Administrative Support Assistant II supporting the online and undergraduate academic programs, as well as providing administrative support to the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN) and the Center for OCD and Related Disorders (COARD).

Robyn Nelson is the Clinical Research Manager for the Department of Psychiatry and the Assistant Administrative Director for the Fear Facers Summer Camp. She has more than 20 years of experience in clinical and academic research and has been involved with the Fear Facers Summer Camp since its inception in 2017. Her research focus is on mental health, with a particular emphasis on obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. She has worked in the PGENeS Lab under the direction of Carol A. Mathews, MD, since 2016. In her role, Robyn supports faculty, clinical coordinators, residents, and students in the development and implementation of research protocols. Her responsibilities include navigating the IRB process; developing protocols, consent forms, and standard operating procedures; identifying and securing access to programs and services necessary for research; and assisting with the hiring and training of research personnel.

Kati is the Program Director for both the University of Florida Behavioral Health Hubs in Gainesville (UFG BHH) and Pensacola (UFP BHH), serving primary care providers in north central Florida and the Big Bend/Panhandle region of the state, respectively.
