Our Mission is to promote and maintain camaraderie among the alumni, faculty, and trainees of the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry.
The Society seeks to bring together members on a regular basis to network, socialize and share current trends in psychiatric and behavioral science, and supports the education, research and clinical mission of the department.

Thank you for your interest in the UF Psychiatry Alumni Society! The UF Department of Psychiatry has been at the forefront of training and educating residents and fellows for many decades, ensuring success for tomorrow’s leaders in the field of psychiatry.

Graduates of the UF Psychiatry residency, fellowships, including postdoctoral psychology fellowships; department faculty and faculty alumni
- Annual Membership: $100
- Lifetime Membership: $2,500 (can be paid in $500 installments over 5 years)
- Recent Graduate: Graduating trainees are recognized with complementary membership for the year following graduation.
Membership fees and donations to the Psychiatry Alumni Society fund (F005017) will be used to support the activities of the Society as well as support the training programs.

Activities of the Psychiatry Alumni Society are under the leadership and direction of the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry. The Chair may seek the support of faculty, staff, the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs and alumni volunteers to further the awareness and activities of the Society, including seeking a respected alumnus/alumna to serve as Honorary President of the Society. The Honorary President will assist with creating awareness and promoting the Alumni Society by lending their name on appeal letters/emails, being present at events/meetings and engaging alumni to further the mission of the Society.
The UF Department of Psychiatry Alumni Society was formally launched at the Department’s 60th Anniversary Dinner on September 21, 2018.
