On these holidays, the clinic is closed and the postdoc does not need to request leave:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr’s Birthday
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
Floating Holidays
On these holidays, the postdoc does need to request off 45 days in advance and assure coverage of duties if needed. The holiday can be used on the specified day or within the specified window. The holiday can be used consecutively with vacation leave.
- Juneteenth (to be used between June 19th and December 31st)
- Homecoming (to be used within 30 days of UF’s scheduled homecoming celebration, which usually occurs in October).
