Inaugural 5K Run 4 Recovery 2019

The Inaugural Run 4 Recovery is Sunday, September 15th, 2019 at Depot Park, 874 SE 4th Street, Gainesville, FL 32601. Kickoff for the event begins at 8:15 a.m. on the day of the event. Registration is free and includes a T-shirt for participants.

Police on lookout for drug 10,000 times more potent than Morphine

The DEA is warning people about one of the most lethal drugs now on the street. "Carfentanil is what they're calling the elephant tranquilizer. In humans, we use Fentanil. It's a more potent Opiod," says Dr. Teitelbaum, Director of the Florida Recovery Center.
