Josh Nadeau, Ph.D.

Dr. Josh Nadeau completed his undergraduate and graduate coursework at the University of South Florida. In addition to working in a variety of school-based settings (elementary, middle, high, charter, alternative) as part of his school-based training, he completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical psychology at the Rothman Center for Pediatric Neuropsychiatry, an outpatient treatment center operated by the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine.

At the Rothman Center, Dr. Nadeau gained experience in providing weekly and intensive treatment for OCD and related disorders, specializing in treatment of these disorders among youth and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders – including ADHD, Tourette or tic disorders, Williams Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, and Down Syndrome.

For nearly a decade, Dr. Nadeau provided clinical leadership and supervision for a nationwide non-profit behavioral health center offering intensive outpatient and day-treatment programming to address a variety of severe mental health concerns. Dr. Nadeau also held a research faculty position with the University of South Florida, allowing him to instruct and train students, and publish a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

In his spare time, “Dr. Josh” can be found providing professional development presentations for local school districts, speaking on commonly requested topics for parent-teacher organizations and family/parent support groups, offering supervision and consultation for medical and behavioral providers of various disciplines, and contributing to expert panel discussions for professional organizations at the state, national and international levels.
