About Michaela K Hogan
Dr. Hogan is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with clinical practice in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Florida. She provides psychiatric clinical supervision to graduate and undergraduate students. DNP courses include individual, family, and group psychotherapy. BSN course includes Professional Nursing Transformation, a capstone undergraduate seminar focused on quality improvement process. In addition to didactic and clinical courses, Dr. Hogan routinely serves as faculty mentor on DNP projects. She also serves within the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, including Research and Scholarship Council, Child and Adolescent Council, and FL Chapter board. Her service in UF College of Nursing (UF CON) shared governance includes President of the Faculty Organization (2023-2025) and Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee (2022-2023). Dr. Hogan was honored to participate in the 2023-2024 National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) Leadership Mentoring Program and led UF CON psychiatric-mental health DNP program as Track Coordinator (Nov 2020-Feb 2024) ensuring student success through the COVID-19 pandemic.
