2018 MBI Education & Outreach awards

Department of Psychiatry Assistant Professor Damon Lamb, PhD earned the MBI Career Enhancement Award. Doctoral candidates Shelby Blaes in Drs. Setlow and Bizon’s Lab and Julianne Price in Dr. Nixon’s Neurocognitive Lab earned the MBI Graduate Research Fellowships for 2018.

Summer camp helps kids face fears, aids UF researchers

Fear Facers Summer Camp, organized by UF’s Center for OCD, Anxiety & Related Disorders (COARD), is for children ranging from ages 7 to 15 with phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety. The camp is an alternative way for children to receive therapy and challenge themselves to overcome daily struggles.
