We’re excited to share wonderful news from our department! Dr. Dimitry Davydow, MD, MPH, FACLP has been named Editor-in-Chief of General Hospital Psychiatry, a leading international journal dedicated to bridging psychiatry and medicine research. We are also proud to share that Dr. Shixie “Max” Jiang, MD has been appointed as one of the journal’s Associate Editors.

Under Dr. Davydow’s leadership, General Hospital Psychiatry is entering an exciting new chapter with a renewed vision focused on reconnecting the brain, mind, and body through rigorous, interdisciplinary scholarship. This work will highlight important areas such as consultation-liaison psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, delirium, catatonia, psychiatric aspects of medical illness, and clinical neurosciences. Together, these areas continue to advance how mental health is understood and integrated with medicine.

We’re proud to see our faculty leading work that influences both clinical practice and the future of psychiatric education, inspiring students and colleagues alike. General Hospital Psychiatry Editorial Board.
