On December 30, our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellows and faculty closed out the year with a service event at St. Francis House. Fellows Drs. Aleksandar Obradovic, Syed Hussain, and Joseph Dedvukaj joined faculty members Drs. Jeena Kar and Sarah Vas, along with several of their family members, to support St. Francis House’s mission of caring for members of our community experiencing hunger and homelessness.
The group spent the day preparing and serving meals, as well as spending time coloring and connecting with children and families. St. Francis House provides free meals, case management services, and essential resources to those in need, and our team was honored to contribute their time in support of this important work. It was a great way to give back and honor the values of service and community as we closed out the year.
