The 6th annual Run 4 Recovery was a great success! Each September, this event brings our community together for a morning of connection and awareness in support of recovery. This year’s run/walk at Depot Park highlighted the importance of celebrating and supporting those in recovery.
An estimated 1 in 10 individuals in the U.S. meet criteria for a substance use diagnosis, the importance of events like this in raising awareness and reducing stigma. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and give a special thank you to the FRC Team, Tim Christensen and Rachel Waters for their hard work and dedication in making this event possible. While Recovery Month may have ended, our commitment to supporting recovery continues every day.
