Dr. Reid serves as Emory delegate during inauguration of UF’s 13th President

UF Psychiatry faculty member Czerne Reid, PhD, represented Emory University at the Nov 2. inauguration of the 13th UF president, at the invitation of Emory President Greg Fenves and the Emory Alumni Association. As the Emory delegate, Dr. Reid was part of the inauguration procession.

Dr. Reid earned her PhD in environmental chemistry at Emory in 2003. She is an instructional associate professor in the UF College of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry, and an affiliate associate professor in the UF College of Journalism and Communications.

The ceremony to inaugurate Ben Sasse, PhD, as UF president was held at the University Auditorium, featuring inspiring remarks by UF leaders and community members, rousing musical tributes, and the presentation of colors by the UF ROTC Color Guard.
