Congratulations to Dr. Mariam Rahmani for her acceptance into the UF College of Medicine Society of Teaching Scholars!
The society’s mission statement, to honor and foster teaching and educational scholarship, is achieved by mentoring junior faculty on teaching improvement and serving in an advisory capacity to the Faculty Development Committee and College of Medicine Education Center. The Society also sponsors the annual “Medical Education Week,” featuring lectures and workshops on relevant educational topics.
Dr. Rahmani will officially be inducted into the Society at the Annual Celebration of Excellence in Medical Education Reception on March 14, 2023, and will walk with other members of the Society at the graduation ceremonies Saturday, May 22, 2023.
