Christian Garcia, Research Graduate Assistant, in Dr. Sara Jo Nixon’s Neurocognitive Laboratory, has been selected as a 2022-23 participant in the Southeastern Conference’s (SEC) Emerging Scholars Program. Christian will attend the SEC Emerging Scholars Career Preparation Workshop held at the University of Missouri this September.
Established by the SEC Provosts, this program is designed to provide professional development and networking opportunities for current doctoral students who are considering careers in higher education. The SEC sees a strategic advantage in sharing information that will contribute to this shared goal and encourages graduates to seek positions within SEC institutions.
