Department of psychiatry residents worked with GRACE Marketplace staff to come up with alternative ways the residents could contribute and tour the facility.
Residents organized a department wide donation drive for items to make personal hygiene kits. Donations were received from residents, fellows, faculty, and staff from the Chair’s office, the Adult Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic, the Child Psychiatry Clinic, and the UF Health Shands Psychiatric Hospital nursing staff. Thanks to these generous donations they were able to make hundreds of kits that were donated the day of the virtual tour at GRACE Marketplace which took place via Zoom.
