Yoga for Mental Health Awareness Month
You have to see the whole person, and make use of the tools and resources that benefit minds and bodies together. That’s why this year’s Mental Health Month theme is Fitness #4Mind4Body.
On May 30th the Department of Psychiatry did their part to raise awareness by organizing free yoga sessions for faculty, staff, and students on campus. Department of Psychiatry therapist, Genevieve Camp led the yoga sessions and other members of the department handed out water bottles and mental health resource card to participants and passersby.
