The UF Department of Psychiatry held their first Residency Olympics during their annual Resident Retreat held each year at the Florida Psychiatric Society’s (FPS) Spring meeting at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.
During the retreat, residents and fellows were broken up into teams and put to the test. They were required to use team building skills as well as their knowledge of the department to complete an obstacle course for the gold medal. Faculty members participated by asking questions to residents as they completed portions of the obstacle course. Everyone involved learned some important and fun facts about the UF Department of Psychiatry and are looking forward to competing again next year.
