Drs. Bruijnzeel & Thornton speak at NAMI Florida Meeting
September is National Recovery Month and NAMI Florida held their annual meeting September 22 – 23 in Orlando. UF Department of Psychiatry, Assistant Professor and Director of ECT and Inpatient Psychiatric Services at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Dawn Bruijnzeel, MD delivered the keynote session on Saturday with her talk on Early Psychosis. She was followed by a Veterans Panel on PTSD and Suicide which included UF Department of Psychiatry Assistant Professor and Chief of Staff for Mental Health Services at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Joseph Thornton, MD.
