The Department of Psychiatry is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Carol Mathews as Vice Chair for Strategic Development.
Dr. Mathews, internationally recognized for her work in obsessive compulsive and related disorders, joined the department in August 2015 under the UF preeminent recruitment campaign. Appointed the Brooke Professor in 2016 for her leadership in OCD research, she recently established the UF Center for OCD, Anxiety and Related Disorders. As Vice Chair for Strategic Development, Dr. Mathews’ efforts will focus on faculty recruitment, program development and departmental growth initiatives. Please welcome Dr. Mathews to this new, important role and join our strategic development efforts.
