The Florida Psychiatric Society (FPS) 2016 Fall CME Meeting was held over the weekend at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel. Several members of the University of Florida’s Department of Psychiatry faculty and residents attended the meeting which focused on “Foundations for the Future of Psychiatry”.
Mariam Rahmani, MD, University of Florida Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Director presented with UF Child and Adolescent Fellow graduate Ali Canton, MD on “Child and Adolescent Telepsychiatry: Considerations in Current and Future Practice and Training“.
Martha Brown, MD, FAPA, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Florida, Department of Psychiatry gave a presentation on “Impaired and Disruptive Physicians”
PGY-3 Residents, Yarelis Guzman-Quinones, MD and Daniel Pietras, MD were awarded the Fall 2016 Tom and Donna Buchanan FPS Alliance Grant.
