The Society for Neuroscience (SfN), the SfN Professional Development Committee, and its Diversity in Neuroscience Subcommittee (DINS) has selected Luis Colón-Pérez, PhD as a Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP) Fellow.
The Neuroscience Scholars Program is a multi-year program designed to enhance career development and professional networking opportunities for underrepresented and diverse graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the field of neuroscience. Some of the benefits included in this award are membership to a mentoring team, travel award to attend the SfN annual meeting, and enrichment funds up to $1,500 to support allowed professional development activities for two years.
