The 168th Annual American Psychiatric Association (APA) Meeting is currently taking place at the Toronto Convention Centre and the Sheraton Centre in Toronto, Canada.
The APA Annual Meeting was established in 1844 to help psychiatrists stay up to date on the advances taking place in mental health. As the world’s largest and longest-serving psychiatric organization, the APA represents a growing membership of 35,000 psychiatrists globally. APA members work together to ensure humane care and effective treatment for all persons with mental disorders. This meeting acts as a platform for providers to gather among peers to learn about new and innovative research and treatment techniques in their field.
Dozens of faculty, staff, residents and fellows are proudly representing the University of Florida, Department of Psychiatry as attendees, speakers and exhibitors at this year’s meeting. If you are at the meeting please stop by our exhibit to learn more about the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida.
