Dr. Reid is a Lecturer and the Program Director for Online Graduate and Certificate Programs in the UF College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. In this role she is responsible for the design, development and administration of online education programs and courses in a range of psychiatry subject areas. She spearheaded the development of the department’s Graduate Certificate in Addiction and Recovery, which began accepting students in Fall 2014. She is the recipient of a 2015 Exemplary Teacher Award from the UF College of Medicine. She is also an adjunct lecturer in the UF College of Journalism and Communications, where she teaches science writing. She is co-chair of the Education Committee of the National Association of Science Writers (NASW).
