11th Annual FRC Alumni Reunion

NewSignsmOn Saturday, September 19th the UF Health Florida Recovery Center (FRC) held their 11th Annual FRC reunion at the Paramount Plaza Hotel in Gainesville, Florida. The FRC annual reunion provides an opportunity for alumni of the program to return to Gainesville to celebrate their recovery and reconnect with alumni and staff from the Florida Recovery Center.

The UF Health Florida Recovery Center is an addiction treatment facility located in Gainesville, Florida. FRC specialists have an intimate understanding of substance abuse and recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism. Many of the doctors, therapists, counselors and representatives at UF Health Florida Recovery Center are in recovery from drug addiction or alcohol addiction. This allows the specialists to connect with patients on a personal level to provide individualized treatment for the success of the patient on their journey through recovery.

This year’s reunion was well attended with over 300 alumni, family, friends and staff in attendance from ten different states, some traveling from as far away as California.
